Note for First Saturday Mass: Jesus says the following to Sister Lucy in regards to those who have difficulty attending Mass on First Saturday: “It will be equally acceptable the practice of this devotion on the Sunday following the first Saturday, when my priests, for a just reason, so grants it to souls.”
Note to Non Catholics: For those who wish to practice this devotion but are not yet admitted to the Sacraments or are not yet Catholic the Act of Contrition and Spiritual Communion with the intent to fulfill Our Lady’s request will suffice. The following should be prayed with reverence and meaning fully each word prayed.
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
