Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us!  Today we honor Mary under the title of “Our Lady of Perpetual Help”. We honor Mary by reflecting on Her sacred image. As Mary holds Jesus close to Her Immaculate Heart, so too does She hold us! Just as we keep images of our loved ones in our homes we too have images of the Mother of God, our spiritual mother to remind us of Her loving intercession. The Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

  Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us, now and at the hour of death!  The Saturday following the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Immaculate Heart of Mary is the treasury by which all other Marian devotions are born. Honoring the Heart of the Mother of God today besides Mass, the Rosary and wearing the scapular is to consecrate ourselves to her by means like the method of  St. Louis de Montfort .  We honor the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart each month on First Friday and First Saturday respectively also in accordance with revelations of Our Lord and Our Lady. With today’s feast, following the feast of the Sacred Heart to reflect Jesus and Mary’s unity, there won’t be any other major Sunday solemnities like Corpus Christi until Christ the King Sunday.
